I would never object to Camus. However--and I don't think this would be good for a book club, but, when you get a chance--I highly recommend Camus' The Plague. Simultaneously scarey, educational, and enthralling. Never read The Stranger, but I should, since they read it in the high schools, hey?
The Plague is now on my future readings list. I'm always up for more Camus. Pam, On the Road sounds great--ashamed to admit I haven't read it either. I suppose I should decide soon, since our first phase starts on Tuesday!

I'm thinking of reading The Stranger by Albert Camus--any serious objections? Come one, Absurdism is so much fun.

Since sarcasm is lost in print, and I really can't tell, anyway, here's a wikilink:

Kasia--I think your book choice is excellent. I've been meaning to read Cuckoo's Nest for a long time, and now here's my chance!
Kasia--I'm so excited to read your bok choice!
I am slooowly getting into my book--it's written in a very different style . . . I won't say any more, though, for fear of ruining it for you!
How about everyone else?
